I’m Sunmbleena, a passionate advocate for youth-led diplomacy, global equity, and informed civic engagement. As the Founder of Alenra Global, I lead an initiative dedicated to amplifying young voices in international affairs — bridging the gap between youth perspectives and high-level policy discussions. I regularly receive international invites and opportunities to attend global forums and conferences, where I use my voice to represent youth perspectives and introduce new ideas for the next generation.
As the UK delegate for the European Youth Parliament, I contribute to multilateral deliberations on a range of topics, working collaboratively to draft formal policy recommendations. I also participate in impactful sessions at the United Nations Office at Geneva, where I represented the Global South for the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction. I was personally invited to attend the Global Donors Forum in Istanbul, Turkey, where I had the privilege of sitting at tables where policies are shaped alongside world leaders and change makers.
Among the many distinguished figures I’ve engaged with, some include: Leigh Turner, former UK Ambassador to Kyiv and Vienna; Sir Nicholas Hopton, former British Ambassador to Iran, Libya, Yemen, and Qatar; John Foreman, former Defence Attaché to the UK Embassy in Moscow; and Jonathan Hall KC, Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation. These interactions have deepened my understanding of diplomacy, security, and the importance of principled advocacy in shaping just and sustainable policies.
I was selected to join the prestigious Advocacy Academy by the World Youth Alliance, following my outstanding performance in their Certified Training Program, where I scored the highest mark yet achieved, and am now undergoing my Advocacy Academy training.
Through Alenra Global and my ongoing work in international policy spaces, I aim to inspire and equip the next generation to participate actively in shaping our shared future — using their voices to introduce new ideas, challenge norms, and drive meaningful change.
As Co-Founder of Alenra Global, I lead the purpose-driven enterprise pillar that empowers businesses and changemakers at every stage of their journey. My role is to specialise in elevating Alenra by leveraging our global network to help optimise operations, forge strategic international partnerships, and scale with purpose. Alenra Global thrives on connecting talent, capital, and opportunity across continents — driving innovation, economic impact, and sustainable job creation.
